As the sun rose over the ancient Scottish City of Stirling on Saturday 03 May, so too commenced a new chapter for the Grand Bailiwick of Scotland, as the beautiful Victorian-era Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, nestled at the foot of Castle Hill, played host to the 2025 Investiture of HE Dame Mary Kenyon as the Order’s new Grand Bailie in Scotland.

The Grand Priory of Finland celebrated its 50th anniversary in Turku on 26 April 2025 with a distinguished gathering of over 100 participants. Turku holds special significance for the Grand Priory as its spiritual home, being the location of the first investiture and ecumenical service in 1975. The celebration was honoured by the presence of the Grand Master, H.E. Don Francisco de Borbón Graf von Hardenberg GCLJ.

Members of the Grand Bailiwick of Scotland gathered in the small West Lothian town of Broxburn on the evening of Wednesday 16 April for their Easter Service. Despite torrential rain and challenging weather conditions, members from across Scotland as well as honoured guests from the Grand Priory of England and Wales met at the 135-year-old United Free Church of Saint Nicholas for an evening of celebration, kinship, and worship.

The unplanned presence of H.E. the Grand Master Don Francisco de Borbón Graf von Hardenberg GCLJ, at the Liturgy of Lazarus Resurrection, which took place on Saturday April the 12th, at the Holy Church of Aghios Sostis for the Athens Commandery members of the Hellenic Grand Priory, was the best Easter gift for all of us.

'It is with profound sorrow and deep reverence that we, the members of this Ecumenical Order, extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. As Grand Master of this Order—founded upon the principles of Christian unity, fraternity, and compassion—I join the entire Christian world in mourning the departure of a shepherd who truly embodied the Gospel in word and deed.'
